Driven by rapid industrialization and deforestation causing significant social, cultural, and ecological  harm in northern Majalengka, West Java, PERHUTANA (Perusahaan Hutan Tanaraya) is an initiative to protect nature. 

PERHUTANA is part of the Kota Terakota movement, which aims to reclaim 8 hectares of land to turn it into a Sacred (conservatory) Forest. This land will be collectively owned and managed by those who invest in the project, focusing on the essential need for oxygen.

PERHUTANA is a collaborative effort that offers plots of land to contribute to the Sacred Forest and preserve ecological, social, and cultural values. Investors will receive three benefits: a 4x4m² plot that will eventually become part of the Sacred Forest, a special certificate made of soil brick, and the option to convert the digital certificate into currency.
